Glittered Decorative Acorns
Inspiration
Recycle, reuse something so had on hand
Instructions
I gathered various acorns from my yard, baked them at 250’ for a couple of hours to kill any bugs. (Free) Using fine glitter that I had on hand, I painted glue on the body of acorn, shook glitter onto and tapped off excess. Some needed to be glued to hats to make whole.To package, I used leftover cocoa bomb plastic containers to house.
Lessons Learned and Highlights
Nothing was hard. It could be messy, but I kept all in a plastic bag to facilitate clean up.
gathering needs to be planned, but Amazon can come to the rescue.
